Vion can kill up to 20 thousand pigs in Boxtel in one day. This number is unimaginable and therefore the individuals remain anonymous and unseen. On Saturday 21 May we want to make this number visible in Boxtel.

The humane meat lie

"Beter Leven" (Better Life) is the biggest label for "humane meat" in the Netherlands, founded by the Society for the Protection of Animals. The welfare standard does not lead to less and better animal farming, and Vion benefits well from it.

A visit to Tilburg's cow's hell

Shut Down VION! visited Vion's cattle slaughterhouse in Tilburg today. We hadn't announced our visit and Vion did not allow us inside.
